A Message From Our President

September 2017

Welcome to another year for the PSA – 78th to be exact!! We kick off the year with our Fall Fun
Luncheon on September 14th. Please make sure to get your reservation in by September 6th. At this luncheon we will present a very large check to Melia Tourangeau, PSO president and CEO, that represents how much money the PSA and affiliates, Pittsburgh Symphony North and Symphony East, have raised over the last year. Come to the luncheon to hear the grand total!

I hope that in 2017-18 we will have 100% participation from our members. The more people become involved, the more we can raise for the PSO. And it is both fun and rewarding to be a part of
this organization. Here’s how you can participate:

• Come to our events (or make a donation if you cannot attend)
• Bring guests to our events
• Volunteer to help on a committee or organize a new event
• Underwrite some portion of a project
• Donate to the Fine Instrument Fund

In addition, you can also help the PSO directly by:

• Becoming a subscriber
• Becoming a donor or increasing your donation to the Annual Fund. It might qualify for the Heinz Foundation Match!
• Bringing people to concerts who may have never experienced a PSO concert at Heinz Hall.

See you at the Fall Luncheon,

Sue
