4th Grade Concerts

If you ventured down Penn Avenue last week you may have seen the 45 school buses lined up to transport students to and from Heinz Hall for each 4th Grade Concert Nov. 14, 15, 16..  Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's commitment to education includes concerts for various age groups of students.

Pete Sullivan, PSO Principal Trombone, demonstrated the parallels between music and sports for the fourth grade students using his hockey stick and puck.

After playing the morning 4th Grade Schooltime Concert on November 15th, Scott Bell soloed at the Allegheny Valley School in Coraopolis later that evening.  He performed Vivaldi’s Concert in F for Oboe, Strings, and Continuo under the baton of Francesco Lecce-Chong..
