Hello Brahms; Farewell and Best Wishes, Francesco Lecce-Chong

From Pittsburgh Symphony CEO Melia Tourangeau:

·        Brahms in da Haus: We are looking forward to our first Summer Classical program on Wednesday, July 18th at 7:05pm, featuring an all Brahms evening.  Our own Kelsey Blumenthal and Mikhail Istomin will be featured in the Brahms Double Concerto for Violin and Cello.  This concert will be 90 minutes in length with no intermission, and will include commentary by conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong and the Musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony. Concertgoers can enjoy happy hour in the Heinz Hall Garden before the concerts, which will also be attended by the PSO’s Young Professionals Club.

·        Farewell and Many thanks to Francesco Lecce-Chong: This program also marks Francesco Lecce-Chong’s last concert as Associate Conductor of the PSO. Thank you to Francesco for three memorable years of concerts and collaborations.  We wish him well as he continues in his position as Music Director of the Eugene Symphony and starts his new position as Music Director of the Santa Rosa Symphony.
